How much notice do you need for a booking?
The earlier you book the more likely I am available for your special event. To avoid disappointments and guarantee your booking I accept payment before the event. Please use my Booking/Enquiry Form and I will endeavour to respond within 24-48 hours. If you need to book me at short notice please call me on: 0414 104 969.

How can I work out how long I need to book you?
To give you a guide - I can paint approximately 10-12 Full Face Painting Designs or 15-17 Small Face Painting Designs depending upon the complexity of the design chosen
If your event has over 100 attending I suggest you book 2 artists or more.

What suburbs do I cover?
I won't write an endless long list, however I have been to parties and corporate events in the following suburbs .....
· Narangba, North Lakes, Kallangur, Strathpine, Albany Creek, Eatons Hill, Aspley, Chermside, Kedron, Enoggera, Ferny Grove, Redcliffe
· CBD, Wynnum, Carindale, New Farm, West End, Grange, Windsor, Toowong, Hamilton, Ascot, Kangaroo Point ..... if I have missed your suburb, just call me.

What if I need to cancel?
Cancellation fee of half of the total amount due if less than 24 hours notice given.

Do you supply all your own equipment?
Yes! I supply my own equipment, table chairs, water etc. You just need to have an area available for me to paint. If the event is outdoors or for 4 hours or longer I can supply a 3X3 marquee. For the comfort of your guests a shaded and sheltered area is preferred.
It will be wonderful if you can ensure I have a close place to park to where your event is held, to make my arrival and exit easier with the equipment I bring.

Do you charge extra for travel?
For bookings located within my local area (up to 10kms) I do not charge anything extra. For distances outside my local area there are additional costs to help pay for petrol expenses and to compensate for time. These fees are minimal.

I am willing to travel within Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.

If your event is located more than 10km from Albany Creek (North Brisbane) there will be a charge for travel of $30 per hr plus tolls. Please ask for a quote when booking.

What kind of paints do you use?
First of all it will help to understand that the paints themselves are not actually paints but more like make up. I use a combination of professional make-up from international suppliers. These would include 'Paradise' and ‘Snazaroo’ - all of these make-ups are considered by many face painters to be of the highest quality available. The make-up contains non-toxic & hypo-allergenic properties and are FDA (USA) approved. Snazaroo paints also carry a "child toy safety rating" and is one of the world’s safest face painting products.
Paints don’t chip or peel and will wash off easily with mild soap and warm water at the end of the day, or you can use a face cloth or wet wipes, but the paint should be removed before bed that day.

Some colours will stain more than others so you may need to repeat cleaning depending on how long you have been wearing the face paint and what the colour is - this is normal and will fade within a day or two.

Will the paints stain my clothing or bed sheets and pillow cases?
They may temporarily but should come off in a cold water wash. Do not use warm or hot water. To avoid staining bed sheets the face paint should be removed before bed.

What ages and restrictions are there in painting?
Please read the Health and Safety Policy, but generally persons that can not be painted are to include: Anyone under 2 years (though I will offer a stamp on the arm or hand). If the person can not tell me they want to be painted or they appear frightened or upset then I will not paint them. It is lovely to see the little ones painted, but I am unable to paint them if they are crying or can not sit still or follow instructions. I would much prefer that they have a happy memory of painting than be scared. I do not paint anyone who is obviously unwell, showing signs of a fever, rashes, open sores or wounds. I also do not paint people with sore eyes.

What do we do if we have allergies?
If you think you or the person that is to be painted has sensitive skin please or has allergies please ask for a patch test. (I apply a small amount of paint to the inside of the elbow and if after 30mins there is no reaction then I will be happy to paint them).
